Aluminum Foil
We export aluminum foil (also written aluminium foil, papel aluminio in Spanish) in six core alloy families: 1050/1060 for battery and cable applications, 1235 for double-zero flexible packaging, 3003/3004 for rigid containers and fin stock, 5052 for honeycomb core, 8006/8011 for household foil and food containers, and 8079 for high-performance packaging and battery foil.
1050 / 1060 Aluminum Foil
1050 and 1060 are 99.5% and 99.6% pure aluminum foils with the highest electrical and thermal conductivity of the common foil alloys. Used for lithium battery cathode foil, cable shielding, insulation facing and fin stock.

1235 Aluminum Foil
1235 is the most widely used alloy for double-zero foil (0.006–0.009 mm). Its controlled Si+Fe content lets it roll to very thin gauges with good pinhole performance for laminated pouches, aseptic cartons and tobacco foil.

3003 / 3004 Aluminum Foil
3003 and 3004 add manganese (and magnesium in 3004) for about 20% and 70% more strength than pure aluminum. Used for rigid food containers, air-conditioner fin stock and honeycomb core.

5052 Aluminum Foil
5052 is an Al-Mg alloy with the highest strength of the common foil grades and excellent corrosion resistance. Its main foil use is honeycomb core for transport, marine, building and aerospace sandwich panels.

8006 / 8011 Aluminum Foil
8011 is the most widely used foil alloy in the world, for household rolls, food containers, lids and caps. 8006 adds manganese for extra strength and elongation in deep-drawn smoothwall containers.

8079 Aluminum Foil
8079 is an Al-Fe alloy that is stronger, more elongating and more puncture-resistant than 1235 at the same gauge. Used for retort pouches, cold-form Alu-Alu blister foil, lithium battery pouch film and aseptic packaging.
