Aluminum Sheets
We export aluminum sheet and plate in three core alloys: 5052 for formed and welded sheet-metal parts, 5083 for marine and pressure-vessel structures, and 6061 for heat-treated structural and machined components. Choose a grade below for full composition, mechanical property and weight tables.
5052 Aluminum Sheet
5052 aluminum sheet offers outstanding corrosion resistance, especially in marine environments, combined with good formability and moderate strength. Widely used in fuel tanks, marine components, and general sheet metal work.
- Tensile Strength
- 215–265 MPa (H32)
- Yield Strength
- ≥ 160 MPa (H32)
5083 Aluminum Sheet
5083 aluminum sheet is the highest-strength non-heat-treatable alloy, offering excellent corrosion resistance in marine environments. Widely used for ship hulls, pressure vessels, cryogenic tanks, and structural applications requiring H116 or H321 marine-grade tempers.
- Tensile Strength
- ≥ 305 MPa (H116)
- Yield Strength
- ≥ 215 MPa (H116)
6061 Aluminum Sheet
6061 aluminum sheet is the most widely used structural aluminum alloy, offering an excellent combination of strength, corrosion resistance, machinability, and weldability. Available in T6 and T651 tempers for structural, automotive, aerospace, and machined component applications.
- Tensile Strength
- ≥ 290 MPa (T6)
- Yield Strength
- ≥ 240 MPa (T6)
